The mission of Child Guardians, Inc is to help abused, neglected or abandoned children through its support of the Florida First Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem Program and its goal of achieving guardian representation for 100% of the abused, neglected or abandoned children whose interests are being adjudicated by the courts. Council on Aging of West Florida is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that has served seniors and their families since 1972. Council on Aging provides community based in home services in an effort to enable the elderly to live a healthy, safe and relevantly independent life in their own familiar surroundings. Council on Aging of West Florida provides programs and services such as Meals on Wheels, congregate meal sites and senior centers, Adult Day Health care and Alzheimer's respite care, Case management, information and referral services, Foster Grandparent and senior Companion programs, Retired and Senior Volunteer programs and other volunteer opportunities. Gulf Coast Kids House believes Children are our most precious resource. It’s hard to imagine someone harming a child, but it’s more prevalent then you may think. Child abuse is a community problem. No single agency or individual has the knowledge, skills or resources to provide all the assistance needed by abused children and their families.
The vision of Gulf Coast Kid’s House is to provide a place where child protective services, law enforcement, prosecution, medical and mental health professionals’ work together under one roof to provide comprehensive services.
